Yoga For Seniors with Nicole Scheerer ~ Sun. May 4th
May 4 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
$20The Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum is excited to welcome Nicole Scheerer to lead a gentle but invigorating Yoga Class for Seniors on Sunday, May 4th from 1-2pm.
This hour-long experience includes stretching and movement with a focus on the body, mind, and spirit. We will honor the body through the improvement of balance, strength, and flexibility; the mind by reducing anxiety and stress; and the spirit through the feelings of tranquility via practice. We encourage you to budget for extra time after the class to enjoy the museum galleries and gardens at your own pace.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, water bottle and any other blocks or supports you may need to feel comfortable. Please note we will also have chairs and are ready to accommodate movements for those who would prefer a seated experience.
