Hear iconic music from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, In the Mood for Love, the Avatar series, and more performed live by Hong Wang—the musician behind traditional Asian instrument performances in major Hollywood, Sony and Netflix productions—and acclaimed concert pianist Dr. Alexandria Le. This intimate 75-seat-only concert explores heritage through cinematic storytelling inside one of Las Vegas’ most extraordinary museums.
A virtuoso performer and musical archaeologist, Hong plays dozens of rare woodwind and string instruments—earning praise from composers Benjamin Wynn and Jeremy Zuckerman as a “folk music dictionary.” His expertise extends beyond the stage: Hong has sought out, studied, and preserved remarkable instruments throughout his career and has helped curate instruments for museum collections, including the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix.
VIP Ticket and Season Pass holders are invited to an exclusive pre-concert encounter with Hong, featuring an intimate demonstration of select instruments from his personal collection and the fascinating stories behind their distinctive sounds.
