Museum Guidelines
Please review our visitor guidelines outlined below prior to your visit. By visiting in person, you agree to abide by these policies, and the Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum reserves the right to ask visitors who do not follow these guidelines to leave the Museum’s premises.
- Do not touch the art
Do not touch the art: Invisible traces left behind by the brushing of fingers along the leg of a bronze sculpture or over the brushstrokes of a painting could damage the art. The tips of our fingers carry sweat, oils, and acids, all of which can transfer to an artwork. - Photography and video
You are welcome to take personal photographs or videos in the Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum, but no flash, tripod, or selfie sticks.
Share your photo with us on social media! Tag @ritadeaninabbey.museum and use #rdamuseum. - Food and drinks are not permitted in the galleries.
- Artists welcome!
Feel free to sketch in our galleries with dry media (pencils, crayons). Wet media (watercolors, paint) are allowed with advance permission from the Executive Director. Call (702) 658-5097 or email info@rdamuseum.org to schedule. - Walkway Accessibility
All entrances, public areas, and restrooms of the museum are wheelchair accessible. Strollers are welcome. The Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum understands our visitors have various needs and abilities. We offer several services to assure the accessibility of our museum and its collections. For questions about accommodation please contact support@ritadeaninabbeymuseum.org. - Health and safety
The health and safety of all is our priority. The Museum will continue to monitor and abide by guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Nevada, and Las Vegas for health and safety procedures that inform our operations. - Animals
We welcome guests and their service animals as authorized by applicable law. Non-service comfort animals are not permitted, nor pets of any species or breed. - Refund policy
A full refund or rescheduling may only be granted if written notice is provided two or more days from the scheduled event. Please email support@ritadeaninabbeymuseum.org to cancel your registration.
