The Rita Deanin Abbey Museum is honored to collaborate with Nicola Lea Kilyushik to introduce a new movement series at RDDAM!
Moving Meditation: Introduction to Qi Gong & Tai Chi. Sunday, April 6th from 11am-12pm.

Qigong and tai chi are complementary practices that share many similarities but differ in their primary focus and structure. Both practices are beneficial for improving physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Qigong is an ancient practice that focuses on cultivating and circulating vital energy (qi) through out the body while tai chi emphasizes a series or “dance” of coordinated movements sometimes referred to as “forms.”

We encourage guests to dress comfortably in clothing that will not limit their range of motion. Please bring water, a yoga mat, and any additional supports you may need to feel ready to participate.  Open to all levels from beginner to expert.
